A Trip to Ripon Cathedral 
Today is our Wedding Anniversay (23 years, who would have believed it?). Kathleen would like to visit Ripon Cathedral to see an Exhibition, to commemorate the industrial scale of the Holocaust and more recent genocides, which is being held there. When we arrive at about 11:00, there is a service in progress, with many school children doing "session" or singing, dancing etc. It is all very well done, but we do not want to wander around the Cathedral whilst that is on. We first go for a walk along the river, and then along the canal, to build up our appetite for Sunday Lunch. This we have at a very pretty little pub by the river, called "The Water Rat". On the left is the view from the bridge over the river beside the pub.
